I like to create a dreamy atmosphere in my paintings. Each one tells a story, and while I may have a story in mind for every painting myself, what is more important are the stories that every viewer creates in their own minds.
DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
My goal for Zonfiro was for it to come across as an exciting, modern metal festival that could stand out from the rest. I lent in a more graphic direction to keep everything clean and legible and paired that with a bold red and a dark blue to express the intensity of the genre. The logo stands out with its edgier aspects to give the first impression of what this festival would really be about. I also focused on including some outdoorsy imagery with the stars and the eclipse to represent the venue, which is an outdoor amphitheatre.
